Habits of successful people

Image
T he habits of successful people to navigating negative thoughts, and from his ‘Lakshmi Saraswati Durga’ theory of keeping his employees happy to integrating mythology with business. My top 3 takeaways from the episode are: 👉 Being multidisciplinary is key: Understanding different facets of work and in life in general is very important, it allows room for escaping the mundane and allows you to detach from your work and look at it from a different perspective. 👉 Embrace the word ‘failure’: Failure is a part of life, and all of us fail at something at some point in our lives. The idea is to embrace it and learn from it rather than be ashamed of it. 👉 Patience is key: As an entrepreneur, it’s natural that you want to succeed fast and grow your business. But learn to take it slow–it’s a long journey. Trust me, this conversation is an invaluable lesson for all the budding entrepreneurs out there!

Health Flavour: All in One : Fermentated Food

Image
What started as a Kombucha trend has now reached Kefir. Kimchi is the pickle of choice, and sauerkraut is now 'it' . All of a sudden, you’re hearing ‘microbial growth’, ‘enzymatic action’, ‘gut health’ and the mystical science of ‘zymology’. All of it actually boils down to a science you have been a part of for generations and probably never gave it a lick of thought. We’re talking ‘fermented foods’ and they’re in vogue like never before. These are trendy foods that have brought the focus back on a process that humans have been practising for thousands of years. There is evidence of ancient alcoholic beverages, preservation techniques practised on various types of dairy milks, fish and vegetables that supports the fact that fermentation is actually an ancient technique. When it boils down to semantics, cheese, yogurt and breads are all essentially foods that were produced through a fermentation process. If you look at the Indian culinary landscape, then the process of ferment...

BEST THINGS TO LEARN IN 20s ( BESTADVICES)

Image
Best  things I learnt in my 20’s that I want to share with you,  full of introspection & gratitude for the Time that defined me. 1) Chase the experience, not the money . Once you find what you love, the money will follow. 2) Don’t let your life be defined by timelines - society will always tell you what’s the “right time” to get married, find a new job, stay in a job you don’t live. It’s all BS- the right time for you is YOUR DOMAIN- it’s only and only yours to decide. 3) Invest- even if it’s 5000 Rupees a month - invest month on month after consulting with someone you trust. I WISH someone told me this when I was 18. 4) Read- whether one page or 10 , spend time everyday reading ANYTHING. You have no idea the perspectives you’ll get and the growth you’ll see. 5) Actively detach from social media - people are constantly sharing their victories and the “best life” syndrome is so fake. It’s shallow & lacks realism! 6) Build on and nourish relationships - your REAL relati...
